Christian Dior Addict Perfume, Dior Addict is a seductive oriental fragrance for women from Christian Dior. In the top notes, the tropical mandarin leaf is balanced with soft, luscious blackberry. Orange flower, night-blooming cereus, and jasmine are among the white floral middle notes, which are accented with a tinge of rose. The base notes combine bittersweet tonka bean, milky sandalwood, and sweet vanilla to create a rich, creamy impression. Thierry Wasser, a Swiss perfumer, worked at Givaudan and Firmenich until being designated Guerlain’s in-house perfumer in 2008–a post formerly held only by Guerlain family members. He was a botanist before becoming a perfumer. In 2002, he designed Dior Addict for the company of Dior.
