Dkny, from Donna Karan’s home, was published in 1999. The top notes are a combination of the unexpected and the unforgettable: sweet orange, fuzzy apricot, the green perfume of tomato leaf, and succulent mandarin orange, thanks to its unusual blend combining a multiplicity of exquisite fruits and rich florals. With notes of intense yellow narcissus, cassia, clean orchid, jasmine, softly refined water lily, heliotrope, rich ylang-ylang, and feminine rose, the smell takes on a floral tone in the heart. The base notes of creamy sandalwood, sensual amber, dark patchouli, earthy birch, and the pungent luxuriousness of suede give the perfume a welcoming warmth.
