It has a rich scent that is truly memorable. Since the 1970s, Oscar de la Renta has released hundreds of perfumes, but he is most known for his work as a prominent fashion designer. During the 1980s and 1990s, he had a lot of success. He even served as the head couturier at Balmain in 1993, making him the first American to design clothing for the French fashion business. He was employed by this company till 2002. De la Renta has designed clothing for a number of famous ladies, including numerous previous First Ladies of the United States.
