Katy Perry’s Royal Revolution Perfume The fruity aroma of pomegranate begins this delicate floral perfume for women, which is sweetened with blackthorn and freshened by pink freesia. Sandalwood’s richness complements the fragrant jasmine and bright orange flower centre. In the base, vibrant leather and subtle skin musk mingle with the powdered flowery aroma of vanilla orchid. The scent has a medium duration and sillage. Katy Perry, an American singer and songwriter with over 40 million albums sold worldwide, released Royal Revolution in 2014. The fragrance is the outcome of a collaboration with Coty, a fragrance firm founded in 1904. Pierre Négrin of Firmenich’s Fine Fragrance Center in New York is the nose behind the scent. After a friend gave him an internship in his perfume workshop, Négrin’s original aim to become a photographer was turned toward the world of fragrance. In 1990, the International Prize for Fragrance Creation was granted to him by the French Society of Perfumers.
