Animalic base notes of musk and ambroxan blend with a dash of sandalwood to give the profile richness and greenness. Despite its name, which translates to “staircase” in Portuguese, Escada is a German fashion label created in 1978 in Munich by Wolfgang and Margaretha Ley.
