The fragrance has a distinct male elegance thanks to the rich woody notes. Salvatore Ferragamo founded his eponymous shoe company in 1927 and is credited with developing a number of shoe types, including the now-ubiquitous cage heel. After the designer’s death in 1960, the company continued to offer high-end leather goods, but it also expanded into clothing, accessories, and fragrances. In 1998, Ferragamo released its debut fragrance. Since then, many Ferragamo perfumes have been created in collaboration with renowned perfumers like Marie Salagme and Olivier Polge.
